"This image shows three different types of single mRNA molecules (red: lin-44, green: egl-20, blue: cwn-1) in the posterior body of C. elegans worm hatchlings.  The image was taken to quantitatively map the expression patterns of Wnt genes during post-embryonic development of C. elegans. Wnts are morphogens that controls a number of developmental processes such as cell growth, migration and induction of cell fates."
