"Layer-by-layer assembly on a nanoparticle platform is being investigated as a means of stabilization and targeting for cancer therapeutics. This image displays multi-layered PRINT nanoparticles designed as a vehicle for systemic delivery of chemotherapeutics in the treatment of cancer.

I took this image as a qualitative assessment of the layer-by-layer nanoparticle surface modification after confirming deposition of material via zeta-sizing analysis. This served as validation of conformal coatings on the PRINT nanoparticles as represented by a monodisperse sample."
