Tumors are more than just malignant cells, they are also abundant in immune cells. While some immune cells such as T cells can kill the tumor, others subsets like macrophages or neutrophils provide a support function to maintain the survival of the tumor. Visualizing where immune cells are located in the tumor architecture will allow us to define better therapies that give infiltration of immune cells that can kill the tumor.
